What “Most Replayed” means

YouTube tracks how often each part of a video is watched again and shows the result as a faint graph over the progress bar when you hover or scrub. The higher the line, the more that moment gets re-watched. It is one of the few pieces of audience behaviour YouTube shows publicly for videos you do not own.

On YouTube you have to hover along the bar and eyeball where the bumps are. This tool reads the same graph and gives you the peaks as a ranked list with start and end times, each linking to that second of the video.

How to read it

  • The very start of a video is always high — everyone begins there. This tool leaves the first 30 seconds out of the ranking so the list shows real re-watches.
  • Percentages are relative to the highest peak of that video, not to other videos.
  • A peak means “people came back to this”, which usually marks a punchline, a reveal, a key step in a tutorial, or something that needed a second look.
  • No graph? YouTube only publishes it for videos with enough views, and not for Shorts or very recent uploads.

What it is useful for

  • Clipping: the most replayed moments are the first candidates for a Short or a TikTok.
  • Studying a competitor’s video: see which segment carried it.
  • Your own uploads: find the moment worth putting in the first seconds of your next video.
  • Skipping to the good part of a three-hour stream.

How to find the most replayed part of a YouTube video

  1. Copy the YouTube link. Open the video on YouTube and copy its URL.
  2. Paste it. Paste the link on snap-media.com/youtube-most-replayed and click Find moments.
  3. Read the peaks. The list shows the most replayed moments with their start and end times, ranked.
  4. Open or clip. Click a moment to open YouTube at that second, or send the video to the AI Clipper.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I see the most replayed part of a YouTube video?
On YouTube, hover over the progress bar on desktop or drag it on mobile and look for the grey graph above it; the peaks are the most replayed parts. Or paste the link here and get those peaks as exact timestamps.
Why does a video have no Most Replayed graph?
YouTube only shows it once a video has enough views to draw a meaningful graph. It is not available on Shorts, on very recent uploads, or on videos with few views.
Is this YouTube’s real data?
Yes. The tool reads the same Most Replayed graph YouTube shows on the video page. It does not estimate anything. The percentages are relative to the highest peak of that video.
Is it free? Do I need an account?
Free and without an account. There is a fair-use limit per hour to keep it from being used as a bulk API.
Can I turn the most replayed moment into a clip?
Yes. The button under the results sends the video to the AI Clipper, which cuts the best moments vertical with captions and labels the ones that contain the replay peaks.
